- getting to decorate!
- opening wedding gifts
- figuring out how to work the oven--(there were two knobs, who woulda thought?!)
- those mornings shoveling our cars out of the ditch
- our first Christmas and tree and lights :)
- FREEZING through our first winter
- spending our weekends at the BEAV
- watching our favorite TV series': FRIENDS, Bones, House, Office, Modern Family
- battles with the spiders
- trying to share our little bathroom--which is now why I have a vanity
- trying to share closet space was a bigger dilemma--Trev has more shoes than any girl I know
- barbequing in our darling back yard
- being lucky enough to have the temple just down the block, I will sure miss those nightly walks!

So long humble abode!
Our first home may have been small but it sure is full of a lot of great memories. Spending my whole Saturday packing it up (alone because Trev left for Europe), and cleaning, my mind retraced those first experiences during our first year of marriage:

one year older, lots wiser
Trev is now 24...ha it sounds so old! But I must say he has changed so much since his last birthday! He knows a lot more about women and their emotions :) and he has progressed so far in school. He was accepted into the Huntsman Scholars Program-which is extremely difficult to get into-and the school is paying for him to visit Europe. He is so driven, I love it! He is an amazing man and deserved an amazing birthday so I did my best to celebrate it. It started off with presents, a surprise breakfast with the Sealy's and Blub, shopping at the Gateway and a trip to Wendover with all his friends!

...and I thought I loved you then
One year ago to this day Trev and I were married for time and all eternity! It still feels like yesterday, the time has just flown by. Here are a few things I have learned about Trev
1. He loves being busy. He goes nuts if we aren't getting something accomplished. It has made me a lot more productive which I have grown to love.
2. He loves being taken care of. Life doesn't get better than sitting in the cozy sack, eating a delicious dinner, and watching the latest TV series that he is addicted to.
3. Despite his tough guy looks he is the biggest teddy bear inside. I love coming home to his whisker kisses.
4. He is happiest when he can get everybody he loves all together. Friends and family are so important to him.
5. His favorite lunch is the Tandori Oven buffet. Never gets old for him.
6. He loves things to be organized.
7. "I feel that" is his favorite phrase.
8. I've learned that I am the luckiest girl to have him. Each day truly gets better and better. I can't wait for the years to come!

Home from the Philippines
Rob finally made it home from his mission in the Philippines. We all missed him so much! It was fun for Trev to meet his new brother and they get along perfect just like I thought they would. It's so good to have Rob back. He has grown so much. He is just happy-go-lucky and always says the funniest things.

swim.bike.run.die
Trev and I did a triathlon together! We were both a little nervous about Trev drowning during the 10 lap swim; however, not only did he make it out alive, it was his best time. It was such a good feeling to cross the finish line where we were treated with some complimentary massages. My goal for next year is to not let any 61 year olds pass me :)

The Little Things Matter
I have been wanting these shoes ever since I first saw them. I am not one who likes to spend a ton of money on shoes so it was a big decision for me :) Well when I went shopping for them they were no where to be found! No shoe stores had them and even the internet didn't have my size! I gave up thinking I would ever get them. Well Trev knew how bad I wanted them so he worked his magic and secretly ordered them for me. I couldn't believe he found them! He makes me so happy :)
One Year Ago
It is crazy to think Trev proposed to me a whole year ago! We went back to Redfish Lake this year and the memories all flooded back. July 3rd was by far one of the happiest days of my life. I had no idea he even had a ring, but knowing I love surprises that was how he wanted it. I love being married to my best friend. Trev is such an amazing husband. He is always doing things to make me laugh and just put a smile on my face.
