Summer Lovin

This summer has been a blast so far!  Here are a few of our adventures...
Mission friends!
This is our trip to Oneida Rapids.  It was a gorgeous day and we were so excited to try kayaking.  Trev and I both tipped the first time through and had a rough time getting out of the fast water.  We didn't let that stop us and we both tried again.  We had so much fun!

Niki was a little nervous
Trev's family came down and we all packed into our little home.  It was a tight squeeze but such a fun sleepover.

My New Brother!

After hearing so many stories about Blub I finally got to meet him!  He just got home from his mission in California.  It was so exciting when he walked through the doors at the small Pocatello Airport.  Johnna planned on taking pictures but got too excited and ran crying to him just glad to have him home.

Trev was so giddy it was adorable!  I love my second family so much!

Perfect day in Green Canyon

It was a first for both Trev and I mountain biking and we had a blast!  There were times that we thought we couldn't make it any further because our legs were burning so bad!  But we pushed through it and the ride down made it all worth it.

bAckSide RooKieS

The 15 new inches of powder treated us to the best day at Beaver!  We got up early and were so stoked.  At the end of the day Chez and Aaron guided Trev and I down the backside for our first time! We were a little nervous but so excited.  It kept getting tougher and tougher and the visions of pure powder were still only visions.  The trail was skinny and had lots of little trees.  After about 45 minutes of boarding through the cat walks, our journey came to an abrupt stop when Trev's shoulder caught the branch of a dead tree and toppled him off the trail and into the base of a pine tree.  He was up to his shoulders in powder!  After at least a half hour of struggling out of that, he made it back to the trail.  It was false hope though because even on the trail the powder sunk his steps up to his hips.  Chez and I came to the rescue to help him out.  We ended up sledding out of it on our boards :)  Finally we came to a clearing and after about 5 minutes of the good powder we were dreaming of, we came to the road.  Trev had never been so happy to get his board off and relax!  We laugh about it now, but we all know what a scary and frustrating feeling it is to be stuck in powder.  Even after all of that, we loved the day and were happy to say we conquered the backside :) It was quite the adventure!

Our Fairytale

Trev and I had a 7:30 Math class together in the Spring of 2009.  We didn't say one word to each other and I didn't think he even knew I existed.  I guess I was wrong because the next semester he hunted me down in the TSC to ask for my number.
I fell head over heels for this boy after our first lunch date to Pounders.
Our second date was with our good friends Chez and Niki to the Haunted Hollow

We became inseparable and had so many fun adventures

The summer of 2010 he left for his job in Texas...
...but he soon came home to me in July and surprised me with this

I had no idea he even had a ring!
We were finally married August 19, 2010.

it was the {best day ever}

We are currently living happily ever after :)
