A [SANDY] White Christmas!

For Christmas this year the Lund's took the family to Puerto Rico!  It was weird to have a warm holiday season without any snow, but the Puerto Ricans brought the Christmas spirit with lots of decorations on their homes, palm trees, and huge set ups along the highways.
Day 1:  Eric, Isabel, Alexa, Trev and I flew out on the 15th to have just a couple of extra days of sunshine. Alexa ruptured her achilles a couple of months ago so she was in a boot the whole trip :( We had a great hotel that was only a couple of blocks from San Juan beach with huge waves!  We quickly made friends with the Coconut and Ice Cream man!  That night we had a true Puerto Rican dinner with Mufango, Paiella, and a Christmas tradition with roasted pork and plantains.

Day 2: San Juan Beach take two!! We loved playing in the waves so much the first day that we decided to head back on day two!  For dinner we took the short drive to Old San Juan and found the cutest pizza place!
Day 3: We still couldn't get enough of playing in the waves so we headed back for more!  The swells were getting bigger and bigger each day so it was pretty intense.  We also picked up Johnna, Scott, and Ashli and headed to our resort in Loiza.
Day 4: El Yunque Rainforest and Luquillo Beach!
Day 5: Golf Day!  The boys went golfing, the girls went to the beach, and I was the ride along photographer for the boys.  The golf course was a PGA course that was right along the beach.  They greet you at the first hole with hot towels and bottled water.  The boys were in heaven to say the least!
Day 6: We took the rest of the family to San Juan Beach to play in waves!

Day 7: El Morro in Old San Juan.
Day 8: Culebra.  We took the fairy ride for an hour out to a little beautiful island called Culebra!  This was more in the Caribbean side of the ocean and the beaches were breathtaking!!!  We spent most of the day snorkling and saw sea turtles, sting rays, eels, starfish, squid, and some sweet fish!   The good snorkling was on Tamarind beach and the other beach we went to was one of the top rated in the world called Flamenco Beach.
Day 9: This was our last real day and we made the best of it.  We made up a coconut bowling game and just played on the beach all day! That night we had our Christmas Eve dinner and got our little gifts.  We also watched a movie the kids made for Johnna and Scott for their Christmas present.

So long Puerto Rico!!! You will be missed!

Halloween Fun!

After much contemplation, Trev and I decided to dress up as our favorite TV shows!
I was Jess from New Girl and got runner up for best costume!
Trev was Walter White from Breaking Bad!
I dressed up for work and Trev took candy to the old folks home with Huntsman Scholars.  That night we had a party with a bunch of my friends from high school and got to see a bunch of friends who I haven't seen forever.  We played pumpkin bowling, apple bobbing and just chatted all night.   I think it's safe to say Halloween was a success!
My boss is cooler than yours!  Love that our CEO is sooo into Halloween!
Got pranked at work! Payback is a beast

My attempt at bloody cupcakes!

Old Ephraims Grave

Fact. We have awesome friends. They took us 4-wheeling this weekend up to Old Ephraims Grave.  We are so blessed to live in this beautiful place and we try to take advantage of it any chance we get.  On the ride up we saw a moose running down the mountain and it looked like we were going to meet on the trail if we didn't slow down. We got so close to it!  It was opening day of the deer hunt and I think it was scared of all the people up there because it didn't even care that we were headed right for it. We ate lunch up at the grave and headed back down.  We are so lucky to have such fun friends.

After that Trev and I went golfing at Sherwood Hills.  We found out where all the deer were hiding from the hunters!

Perfect Day

One of my favorite things is being on the golf course with Trev.  I don't love golf as much as he does, but I love just being with him on the course.  It is just us and not a worry in the world. Sherwood was gorgeous as the leaves are full of bright fall colors.  Love Fall in Utah.  Love Trev. He loves Golf. It was a perfect day.

Nephew Number 2!

Dawson Levi Garrett arrived the night of September 25th!  He is perfect!

Californ[I]{A}

I have been to California before, I have even been to LA before, but this trip was a whole different experience than the first time around.  Eric, Isabel, Trev and I jumped in the car and headed to the west coast.  Eric served in the Arcadia mission so he knows the area really well.  It was really neat to visit some of his converts because they love him so much and it was amazing to see how much he changed there lives.  We first stopped at Olvera Street and got our shop on>>>

That night we had ourselves some authentic street tacos>>>

The next day was the Aggie football game VS USC.  We got some cheap family tickets online, but felt a little out of place being the only Aggie fans in a sea of red so we eventually made our way over to the Aggie section.  #Bleed Blue>>>
After the game we headed to the Beach Beach>>>

Pretty sure they were checking out the muscles at Muscle Beach
Trev was loving Venice Beach
Next stop...The PIER!!! This was an incredible end to our adventure.  Overlooking the Pier from the ferris wheel was incredible>>>

California, you treated us well. Peace out!

Blizzy Wedding 8.23.13

Eric and Isabel got married this weekend!  Everything turned out beautiful after all the commotion of decorating, cooking, and the crazy weather.  It was so fun meeting Bel's family from Florida and Brazil.  Her dad and grandma's don't speak any English so most of our communicating was through lots of hugs and smiles.  The sealing was wonderful, the weather held up for both receptions, and the bride and groom were giddy as can be.  Eric had the biggest smile all day!
We adore these two!

Wedding Party!
Flavia made a cake for both receptions!  She was amazing!
We put up with several downpours! We set up 3 times!

I love my new sister!  So happy to have her in our family!
